About
Frank Herrmann is the principal developer at Weirholme Software. He holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Statistical Signal Processing).
His professional career includes positions as Research Scientist at Xerox PARC, Lecturer of Computer Science at Aberdeen and Exeter University, Senior Quantitative Finance Developer at Barry and Hibbert Ltd (now Moody's Analytics), Expert Evaluator of the European Commission and Senior Software Developer.
Weirholme Software was established as a small business in 2010. In 2016, the company transitioned to a consultancy to allow me to dedicate more time to external commitments at the University of Exeter and the European Commission.
